A roller shutter door is a type of door that is open and close by raising and lowering along the roller shutter door tracks or roller shutter guide rails on the two sides of doors. Roller shutter doors can be constructed by steel rolling shutter slats without thermal materials insulated, roller shutter door panels, and PU foam insulated rolling shutter slats etc. In some regions or areas where it’s too cold in winter, people prefer to add thermal materials (PU or polyurethane to be specific) inside the rolling shutter or roller shutter to preserve heating, and based on the request, PU rolling shutter door slat production line has been invented.

PU rolling shutter slats are produced from Alloy Aluminum or Galvanized steel (thickness 0.3-0.5mm or 0.4-0.6mm, and material widths vary according to the required final slats) and PU (Polyurethane) foam insulated continuously; sometimes punching slots are required. The most common PU rolling shutter slat profiles have effective widths 37mm, 42mm, 55mm, 77mm, 98mm and 125mm etc, and we can design and build production lines for some customized rolling shutter slats as well.

PU rolling shutter slat production line has been designed to continuously produce roller shutter door slats with PU or polyurethane insulated; the door slats or window blinds hinge each other horizontally as roller shutter.A PU roller shutter slat production line is ideal for the manufacturing rolling shutter slats with variable lengths and in large quantities. The alloy aluminum and galvanized zinc steel which is used to make slats have neat external appearance, even ripples, high utilization and strength. The PU or polyurethane foam insulated rolling shutter slats have good ability of heating preservation, compared to rolling shutter door slats and roller shutter door panels which have nothing thermal materials insulated.

There are two different transmission and roll forming systems optional for a PU rolling shutter slat production line: economical type (chain-brackets transmission and conjoint-stands roll forming system) and upgraded type (gear-box & universal joint shafts transmission and separate-stands roll forming stands).

A PU rolling shutter door slat production line generally consists of a manual decoiler, a hydraulic punching tool is optional for some types of slats, a roll forming machine with heating system and transmission system, PU foaming machine with glue spray system, a tracking fly-saw cutter which cuts down over moving forward synchronously with the running of the line, a pneumatic stacker, and a PLC control cabinet.
